Sophisticated Living’s Cortney Vaughn recently enjoyed visiting the South’s grandest new luxury hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. Hotel Bennett is full of spectacular views and Instagram-worthy snapshots. Pictured here is Camellias Champagne Bar, the place to be for picturesque floral décor and extensive selections by the bottle or the glass. Samplings come with a menu of caviar, ceviche and tartare. A signature Camellias cake is a popular staple as well as the afternoon tea offerings. The bar’s stunning pink hue comes from reclaimed marble that once was the library building where the hotel now stands. The egg-shaped room design was inspired by the famous Fabergé jewel boxes and features four pieces of art which depict the Camellia flower.
