Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will offer three collections, all at No Reserve, during this month’s Fall Auction at WestWorld of Scottsdale, October 22-24, 2020. The Collection of Lewis and Sandy Little features 13 cars ready for open-road adventure, the Greg Gutek Collection includes 11 icons of Detroit steel and the Neil Brown Collection offers a diverse mix of Ford and Shelby collectibles. 

“The vehicles featured in our three collections are largely comprised of awesome American steel spanning seven decades,” says Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “From a classic 1954 Mercury Monterey Convertible (Lot #400.1) and a HEMI V8 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T (Lot #677.1) to a 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 convertible (Lot #654), these vehicles are beautiful examples of American automotive history. Each has been meticulously cared for over the years and, because they’re being offered at No Reserve, all will find a new home during the auction.”

The Collection of Lewis and Sandy Little includes 13 classic American cars built between 1950 and 1962. Among the most notable is a Jewel Blue 1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (Lot #691.2), which was restored approximately five years ago and stored in a climate-controlled setting. One of 1,168 Ford Thunderbird J-Code convertibles built in 1959, Lot #401 in the collection is fully optioned and was restored to its original Casino Cream exterior with black power convertible top and black leather interior.

A diverse offering of restored and custom collectibles born out of Detroit steel are headed to the auction block from the Greg Gutek Collection. Lot #700.1 is a 1970 Plymouth V-Code Superbird finished in B5 Blue that has been restored to factory specifications. A 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (Lot #348.1), which has been garage-preserved since new and has only 19,825 actual miles, was special-ordered in 1977 with the LM1 8-cylinder engine and M21 4-speed manual transmission.

The Neil Brown Collection features a selection of Ford and Shelby vehicles, including a 2005 Ford EX Concept Truck (Lot #653.1). Ford's Special Vehicle Team (SVT) developed the Sport Trac Adrenalin Concept, which debuted at the 2005 New York Auto Show and was retained by Ford before it was sold in 2010. Lot 383.1, a Bullitt-themed 2008 Ford Edge, and Lot #116.2, a one-of-a-kind 2010 Taurus SHO, were both built for SEMA by Mustang Racing Technologies. 

A few import classics round off the collections, including a frame-off restored 1962 Sunbeam Alpine (Lot #399). Purchased new in England, this barn-find Sunbeam was owned by three families in the same town before being discovered in a peanut shelter. Another offering is a 1961 Volkswagen 23-Window Microbus (Lot #691) that has been upgraded with a 1,600cc engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-volt system.
