On August 30th, our Sophisticated Summer Contest winner Sandy Jugensen collected her $350 in gift cards from Colonial Marketplace in Ladue. Adam Martin of Desco Group, which manages the shopping hotspot, presented Sandy with her prize package. The next Sophisticated Living Giveaway will be announced on September 1st. This time, THREE winners will have a chance at prizes.

Sandy is 64-years-young. “I love anything pink,” she exclaims. When notified of her win, Sandy was vacationing with her husband Brad and son-in-law Greg in Alaska. She has two grown children, Jenni and Drew. She’s worked for both Washington University and IBM, works for JA Whitney, a small gift shop, and volunteers at the St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Association. “I’m a strong Christian, an ovarian cancer survivor and grateful that the Lord has seen me into my sixth decade of life.
Upon her return from Alaska, The Crystal Lake Park resident will be picking up her a prize from Ladue’s Colonial Marketplace. “I love the fact that my house, which is in the cross section between Frontenac, Town & Country and Des Peres is a hop, skip and a jump away from the center, and I’ll definitely enjoy the gift cards.,” said Sandy. “I truly feel blessed to have won.”
