Play With The Pros!

That's right. John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Mark Philippoussis and Andy Roddick want you to play with them in a clinic with the pros right before they square off against each other! 

“I will always have great memories of St. Louis because of the famous Davis Cup match I played there in 1982 against Mats Wilander of Sweden," says McEnroe. "It was one of most memorable matches of my career. I glad I won’t have to play five sets and for six and hours this time around at age 59, but I’m eager to get on the court and battle it out with the younger guys.”

The players are coming to St. Louis Thursday, October 4, to play in two one-set semi-final matches with the winners battling each other in the championship match. The True Champions Classic will be held at Chaifetz Arena. Tickets for the 7pm showdown are available through Ticketmaster and https://www.invescoseries.com. “St. Louis is one of the best sports towns in the USA and is the hometown of Dwight Davis, the founder of the Davis Cup," says Courier. "We are looking forward to competing there again and to continue to add to the city’s tennis legacy.”

Roddick says,  “Playing in St. Louis in our event in 2016 was a lot of fun,especially having won the title beating one of my idols, John McEnroe, in the final. I’m looking forward to another great competition and playing in front of all the great St. Louis sports fans.” 

The momentum of the recent 100th PGA Championship in St. Louis is traveling to the courts. “St. Louis is a really great sports town and the crowds they just had at the PGA Championship golf were amazing," says Philippoussis. "I’m looking forward to competing there in front of all of the enthusiastic and energetic fans.”
