A Pink Tea

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis’ popular Saturday Afternoon Tea will take on a decidedly pink twist this month, when the hotel will support breast cancer patients through a series of four special Pink Ribbon Teas. Net proceeds from the annual non-profit teas will benefit the locally-based Gateway to Hope, a breast cancer lifeline whose mission is to provide assistance for in-need individuals who are diagnosed with or are at high risk of developing breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon Teas will be held each Saturday: October 6, 13, 20 and 27. The menu will include flavorful finger sandwiches, freshly-baked scones and select sweet treats, all created or garnished in hues of pink. Optional pink Champagne will be available for those wishing to upgrade to the “royal” version of tea.  

During the hotel’s Pink Ribbon Tea month, guests and area residents can also celebrate a loved one, survivor or patient by leaving a personalized pink ribbon on a pink ribbon tree which will be prominently displayed in the hotel lobby throughout October. Seatings available at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m
