Saint Louis Ballet Season Begins Oct 24
Saint Louis Ballet has announced that This Is Who We Are, an entirely new ballet in three sections, will open the 2020-2021 season. Performed on the Touhill stage, the production will be available in a live streamed format beginning October 24.
Former New York City Ballet principal dancer Gen Horiuchi has convened his company back in Saint Louis after cancellation of spring performances and the traditional summer hiatus. “After months of separation, our dancers – including three talented new ones – will reunite and begin training, creating and preparing to perform,” Horiuchi said. “We are touched by the generosity and interest of this community to keep Saint Louis Ballet moving forward.”
This Is Who We Are is a fully produced/costumed production on the Touhill stage. Horiuchi has created the ballet for solo or small groups in the interest of safety. Tickets toThis Is Who We Are are complimentary, but required in order to receive access. www.stlouisballet.org.
