LITTLE INFO

Meet Adley Emalyn, the one-year-old daughter of AJ and Kirsten Brown. If those aren’t household names, your mouth will water for sourdough when you realize they own and operate KNEAD BAKEHOUSE + PROVISIONS in the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood in South City.

LITTLE LOOK

Adley Emalyn has a great sense of style and also supports local businesses. In the cover photo, she’s sporting a Baby Gap denim jacket customized and embroidered by the fabulous Daily Disco. Her beige dress above is a fashionably vintage find from Etsy. She also loves wearing Jamie Kay’s organic dresses and overalls, designed overseas in New Zealand! “Adley has received beautiful gifts from Maisonette, City Sprouts, Honeycomb, Mary Tuttle’s and The Woman’s Exchange which she and Mommy both love,” says Kirsten.

LITTLE LIT

Adley’s book club choices include “The Pout-Pout Fish” by Deborah Diesen and “Lola Dutch” by Kenneth Wright. She also recommends taking a break from it all sometimes and enjoying episodes of “StoryBots” “Carmen Sandiego,” parental accompaniment preferred!

LITTLE LOVES

Adley loves to go visit both sets of grandparents. What a lucky little girl- they all live in St. Louis! “Grammy and Paw Paw have toys out that Daddy and his brothers used to play with. Addie girl loves swimming and swinging at GoGo and Tuuks,” says Mom. This little lady definitely knows how to make everyone feel special. Mom and Dad say her absolute favorite thing his being home with the family. “She loves playing, cuddling and dancing. If “Sunday Best” by Surfaces comes on you can bet she will be dancing!”

LITTLE EXTRA

Mom and Dad say Adley loves people. And while you might think it’s hard to get to know anyone during a pandemic, Adley’s become a social butterfly! She started coming to KNEAD everyday with her parents, and she was immediately promoted to “official KNEAD greeter.” She loves waving to the curbside customers, neighborhood walkers, and delivery personnel through the windows, according to her parents. “When she isn’t waving, napping or playing, she is eating loaves and loaves of Sourdough. To say she loves it is an understatement- if we let her, she’d have it for all three meals and snack time.” Um, us too!
