#314FASHION
St. Louis fashion businesses have banded together to launch #314FASHION, a campaign to spotlight the local fashion industry - an industry that contributes $3.3 billion annually in St. Louis - during these trying times. The launch is Monday, April 20th and it's as simple as buying a t-shirt. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Gateway Resilience Fund which supports small businesses.
The #314FASHION coalition has enlisted some "star power" to kick off the launch. New York-based menswear designer Timo Weiland, hometown author and head of New Fashion and Beauty Partnerships for YouTube, Derek Blasberg, swimsuit designer Devon Windsor, ABC's Deborah Roberts and NBC’s Al Roker will be sporting #314FASHION T-shirts on their respective social media platforms to show their love for the St. Louis fashion community!
Nearly 100 small businesses specializing in fashion will participate including Lusso and 2Lu. The owners have produced a t-shirt designed by Courtney Winet, which may be purchased at Shop2Lu.com or ShopLusso.com.
"We would like everyone to join us as we celebrate St. Louis' vibrant fashion industry" says Lusso Boutique co-owner Drea Ranek. "Although our boutique in Clayton is currently closed, Lusso is doing its very best to stay open "online," offer gift certificates to our loyal clientele, and help with important initiatives like #314together and #314FASHION."
