In Case You Missed It: Over the Top for Tots

On November 12, Saint Louis Crisis Nursery hosted its annual Over the Top for Tots luncheon… and it was a huge success!

$115,000 was raised to fund the Crisis Nursery's Art & Play Therapy programs! Twenty-five boutique vendors provided shopping for the 325 Crisis Nursery supporters. Shopping was followed by a fabulous luncheon, auction, and Diamond Raffle.

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is a recognized leader in the prevention of child abuse and neglect in the region through the provision of a safe haven for children and premier services to families. Its Art & Play Therapy programs provide a safe place, a safe person (a registered Art or Play Therapist), and an opportunity for children to express themselves in an engaging, creative way. Through art and play therapy, children build positive coping skills, positive self-esteem, and positive relaxation techniques and learn to identify, express and regulate feelings. The Crisis Nursery’s Art and Play Therapists travel between all five nursery locations and also see children whose families are enrolled in the Family Empowerment Program.
