Mercy Pharmacies Open at Dierbergs
Dierbergs Markets and Mercy have completed their agreement for Mercy to acquire all 22 of Dierbergs’ traditional and specialty pharmacies and operate the pharmacies in their current locations under a long-term lease, effective today. With this expansion, Mercy now offers 34 retail pharmacies in the St. Louis region and 48 across Mercy’s four states.
Mercy also plans to develop a pharmacy in a new Dierbergs store under construction in the Shoppes of Hawk Ridge in Lake Saint Louis, slated to be open late in 2021.
With this new collaboration, the Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers—many located in the same shopping plazas as Dierbergs stores—and the rapid expansion of outpatient sites, Mercy is bringing even more convenient health care services to where people live, work and shop throughout the Metro area.
With the agreement completed, Mercy welcomes more than 150 Dierbergs pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy associates.
