The Beauty of a Photograph
Beautiful things are meant to be seen. And, retired health care executive and community volunteer Dick Miles is making that his mission.
Becoming interested in digital photography in the 1980’s, Miles now travels internationally, capturing striking images. His primary focuses? Street scenes in cities like Paris and macro images of flowers. Currently, Miles serves as the board chair for the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum in Grand Center. Before pursuing photography, Miles had an extensive career in healthcare, spending 30 years with Valitas Health Services. Find more of Miles’ photographs and a full bio in our current issue.
If you haven’t already, visit the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum! The museum houses 6,000-square-feet of gallery and exhibition space in the Grand Center area of St. Louis, one of the country’s densest cultural districts.
