Summer is over. In days gone by, kids didn’t head back to school until after Labor Day. But for many kids and teachers the school bell rang weeks ago and will continue sounding for the nine months ahead. This means that parents may need to coordinate schedules for their children's activities, such as homework, extracurriculars, and commutes. They may also need to adjust their own schedules to accommodate these activities.
And since we can’t function without the sustenance to drive our body’s engines – FOOD – we need to make up time. Gone are those summer days when you and your progeny might sleep in late and have leisurely breakfasts and lunches. Parents may need to wake up early to prepare for the day, which can include making breakfast, packing lunches, and getting their kids ready.
Winslow's Table to the rescue. They have you covered with quick and delicious meals. With all that you have to do to make sure that your family’s culinary needs are met for the day, you may not have time for yourself. After you drop the kids off at MICDS, Forsyth School, Parkway West, Metro High, or Villa Duchense, stop by Winslow’s Table. It is an upscale place that is part restaurant and part market.
