Guests at the Contemporary Art Museum’s 2022 gala got back into the swim of things at The Coronado on April 22. It was a Palm Springs pool party (sans pool) with big sunglasses, cool coifs, and gimlets galore. The evening was inspired by the poolside glamor shots of artist Martine Gutierrez, whose “HIT MOVIE: Vol. 1” is being shown during CAM’s spring/summer exhibitions. The gala supports CAM’s dynamic range of exhibitions, public programs, educational initiatives, and community collaborations. This year, Nancy and Ken Kranzberg, who supported CAM long before it moved into its corner cabana on Washington Blvd., were honored. The Kransbergs are credited with making the Grand Center Arts District come alive under the umbrella of the Kranzberg Arts Foundation. The Kranzbergs always DIVE IN!
