America’s Birthday Parade is an incredible spectacle of elaborate floats, choreographed dances and live performances – including some of the country’s most talented marching bands. Parading through the streets of downtown St. Louis in the shadow of America’s tallest monument, the Gateway Arch, this classic summer event is a celebration of our city, our people, our community, and our country… from sea to shining sea.

The SIU Alumni Association invites all local alumni to join us for one of our summer traditions, the 2024 SIU Day at Busch Stadium. The event includes a pre-game gathering at the Tin Roof St. Louis and tickets to the St. Louis Cardinals vs Chicago Cubs game at 7 p.m.

In celebration of the history and the continuing charm of Grand Center, the Tennessee Williams Festival of St. Louis will present “Life Upon the Wicked Stage,” a program of three one-act plays with music, at the Curtain Call Lounge at the Fox, just steps from the bustling streets and locations where much of the action takes place.
