Not only did the summer blockbuster behemoth rake in 1.3 billion dollars, it now ranks as one of history’s top 20 films. Around town, Barbie jumped from the silver screen at the Chase, to a doll giveaway at Cardinal Glennon, to a Halloween costume party at Hotel St. Louis. Local chefs Chris Bolyard of Bolyard's Meat & Provisions, Darren and Charlene Young of The Fattened Caf, Kitt Villasis-Corbin of La Patisserie, Loryn Nalic of Balkan Treat Box, Heidi Skye Hamamura of Taberu, and Neil Strasser of The Mariposa at Neiman Marcus served Maserati-inspired dishes to an enthusiastic crowd of donors. The event brought in more than $25,000 toward Jim Butler Auto Group’s $100,000 fundraising goal, including a $10,000 donation from Brad and Michelle Sowers and $2,000 from Neiman Marcus.

Rene Knott of KSDK emceed the event with special performances by renowned singer and composer Brian Owens.
