Looking Back on 2024 as Sophisticated Living St. Louis Soon Turns the Page to Year Number 12

by Grayling Holmes

Can you believe it?  2024 will soon be a memory and we will turn the page to a new calendar year.  As we look back on 2024, let’s take a moment to look at some of stories we have brought you in our pages.

The January/February cover featured the Contemporary Art Museum and it’s contributions and impact on our rich art scene in the STL.

People who live in glass houses…have a great view, as was shown in our cover story  “The Glass House” in our March/April issue.  The Ladue home is a the perfect synthesis of function and style.

The months of May and June took us to the Far East or was it west?  Readers took a culinary journey into the art of Omakase sushi with renown chef Nobu.

July and August brought home supermodel and home girl Karlie Kloss.  The cover girl graced not only our cover, but came to the Gateway City to unveil Karlie Kloss Way in downtown St. Louis.

As fall dawned, we explored the world of Clayco, whose building ethos led to the company motto, “The Art and Science of Building,” graced the cover of our September/October issue.  Clayco has taken a local brand and made it one of the biggest in the nation.

And as the year closes, our cover features great interior design worthy of one of the world's best luxury magazines, Sophisticated Living.  We will tell you later why it made the cover.

In the meantime, look for the year-end November/December issue in your mailbox and digitally right here.

As always, Craig and the entire team at Sophisticated Living St. Louis wishes you the best, as for almost 12 years we live up to our motto – bringing you “St. Louis’ Finest.”
