Sophisticated Details: Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri’s mission is to provide, protect, and support reproductive and sexual health services, access, and rights. Planned Parenthood has been the leading provider, educator, and protector of reproductive health care in St. Louis and Southwest Missouri for nearly 90 years.

We operate eight health centers: six in the St. Louis area, one in Springfield, and one in Joplin. We provide sexual and reproductive health care services to people of all gender identities, including annual wellness exams, birth control, pregnancy options counseling, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, PrEP HIV prevention, gender-affirming hormone therapy, vasectomies, tubal ligations, and more.

We welcome patients with or without insurance. Planned Parenthood provides comprehensive sex education for all people, and our research program aims to advance the field of sexual and reproductive health.

Sophisticated Goals: We are on the brink of devastating roll backs to reproductive health and rights. This next year demands of us an unrelenting focus on reducing health disparities and increasing access to sexual and reproductive health care services in our region by centering people who disproportionately face racist and discriminatory barriers to care: Black and Latino communities, the LGBTQ+ community, young people, and people with low incomes. Our organization will work to ensure health care is accessible and affordable in the communities we serve across Missouri and southern Illinois.
