Jazz St. Louis Remembers St. Louis Native and Jazz Legend David Sanborn

Everyone in the jazz world and beyond is grieving loss of David Sanborn on Monday, May 13 after a prolonged battle with cancer.  To say that David was a legend might be a bit of and understatement. A Whopping 1.1-Million Dollars Raised in Just One Night at St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Gala featuring Yo-Yo Ma

On Friday, May 3, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra announced that it raised $1.135 million for its artistic, education, and community programs at its gala event and concert featuring the internationally acclaimed musician and philanthropist Yo-Yo Ma. The Power of Alchemy

With her giant etching press and a healthy dose of alchemy, owner and Master Printer of Wildwood Press, Maryanne Ellison Simmons works with artists to bring new beauty to life. Simmons and her husband, Ted, a former Cardinals baseball player, met in junior high school and much later, began a life of collecting.
